Varsity Coaching Staff

Head Coach - Mike Scarlett is a graduate of Ridgefield High School who has been coaching baseball in Ridgefield for 21 years and is entering his first season as head coach of the Varsity team following four seasons on the Junior Varsity level. In addition to previously assisting at RHS on the freshman level and coaching the JV at Immaculate HS, Mike has coached at the Babe Ruth, Legion, and AAU levels while also winning three town championships with his RLL team, Squash's.

 

 

 

Assistant Coach - Len "Boots" Merullo is entering his seventh year with the Tigers.  A Ridgefield resident since 1968, Boots played at Holy Cross in College and professionally in the Pittsburgh system for 3 years.  Boots has 28 years experience as a coach, manager and GM of Ridgefield Town Team / Bryon AC.
 
 
 
Rosten Picture.jpgAssistant Coach - Adam Rosten is entering his first season as Assistant Coach to the Varsity baseball team. Previously, Adam was on the Danbury High School baseball staff as the Assistant Freshman Coach for the past two seasons. Before that, he was the Head Freshman Coach at Shelton High School and began his high school coaching career at Newtown High School as the Assistant J.V. Coach. During his coaching career Adam has had ten players play baseball at the next level. Adam played           baseball at Lakeland High School in Shrub Oak, New York for legendary baseball coach Dennis Robinson. He also played collegiately at Roanoke College in Salem, Virginia. Adam is married to his wife Laurel and they have three kids: Andrew, Maxwell and Nina.
